Black Dragons
Location: Evil Chicken Lair. Armours: Black dragonhide ranger armours; Archer's helm; holy book of Saradomin, amulet of glory, combat bracelet, ring of wealth, spottier cape & boots of lightness. Weapons: Rune crossbow with enchanted emerald bolts (poison), broad-tipped bolts and enchanted pearl bolts (water pouring). From Varrock, I used the fairy ring to goto Zanaris and walked to the evil chicken shrine to the northeast. I placed a raw chicken upon the shrine and I was teleported into the place where the black dragons live.
While bashing the dragons I received a loop half of key as a drop. I made 120 enchanted emerald bolts. My technique for fighting the dragon is to shoot the dragon with the enchanted emerald bolts until poisoned, then switch to the broad-tipped bolts (12:10). At 13:33, I had 57 hides and 39 bones banked.
I returned after a break at 14:45. Made 36 enchanted emerald bolts. I received a clue scroll from the dragon, as well as poisoned addy darts. Ended up with 81 dragonhides and 63 dragon bones to sell on the Grand Exchange. Sold 81 black dragonhides @ 2983 for 242433gp(5!). Sold 63 dragon bones @ 1800 for 115135gp(5!). 5903552gp banked.
