Mournings End Part 1

Check List: 1 Bucket of Water, 1 Bear Fur, 2 Piece of Silk, 2 Toad Crunchies, A few Feathers, 1 Soft Leather, A Magic Log, 10-20 Coal, Green-Yellow-Red-Blue Dyes, Ogre Bellows, and 2 Barrels.

Recommended Things: Food, Antipoison Potions, Stat Restore Potions and Teleportation Runes.

Got bucket & silk from Ardougne Square. To make toad crunchies:

1. Put Gianne dough in a crunchy tray.

2. Bake on a range.

3. Add 2 toad's legs.

4. Add a dash of gnome spice.

5. Bake on a range again.

6. Add one sprig of equa leaves.

Purchased barrels and soft leather on Grand Exchange. Chop magic trees between Catherby and Ranged Guild. I can buy pre-made dyes at the seamstress in Lletya, Oronwen. I have 2 bellows taken from chest north of brandt. I will need to have stat restore potions and teleportation runes.

Next, I need to find Arianwyn. He is in the centre of Lletya. He tells me I should infiltrate the mourners. I went to Arandar and killed a mourner and got his clothing and a note. Oronwen repaired the trousers with 2 silk and a bear fur. I had to nick a bar of soap from a druid in Taverly and wash the blood off the mourner's top.

Infiltrate the HQ

I now wear the mourner's clothes and I need to carry: feathers, soft leather, a magic log, 2 Toad Crunchies and the Letter. At mourner's HQ, I spoke with the Head Mourner and was told about the evil plans. I made a gnome repair the dye shooter. Dying the sheep was fun!

Next, I have to make a non-lethal poison based on rotten apple. Elena will help me.

A barrel of naphtha is used in the Regicide and Mourning's Ends Part I. It was used as an explosive and as a poison respectively.

It is obtained by filling a barrel with coal tar, and then taken to the Chemist's house in Rimmington, before using Coal to distil it.

Instructions: First, Use the barrel of coal tar with the Fractionalising still.

A barrel of coal tar is obtained by using a barrel on the tar of the Poison Waste. The only location that the tar can be found is at the Poison Waste directly south of the elf tracker

Then, click the right side of the valve to the right twice, so the tar should be flowing at maximum. You should see the 'pressure' indicator on the left go up. When the indicator reaches the green region, click the right side of the left valve ONCE to let out pressure. This should stall the indicator on the left. Now you can start adding coal. This will raise the indicator on the right. Don't let it go past the green area! Add coal SLOWLY, one or two at a time. The bar on the bottom will start turning green, when it's full, stop adding coal and close the window on the top right to get your barrel of naphtha.(Runescape Wikia).

Once I have poisoned 2 of the food stores, I reported back to the Head Mourner. He told me of the hidden temple they seek. QUEST COMPLETED!
